Conference and Banqueting

For your large event The Engine Shop at Coalbrookdale offers a banqueting or exhibition space within a grade II listed building, recently restored to also house the Trust’s newest visitor attraction – Enginuity. The impressive ceiling height of this venue and easy vehicular access make it perfect for exhibitions and product launches.

On the same site you can enjoy a drinks reception in the surroundings of the Coalbrookdale Gallery before proceeding into the Covered Bays for a lunch for up to 200.

Next door is The Glass Classroom which, even on a grey day will give a light and airy feel to any event and can cater for anything from theatre style seminars to cabaret lunches. Used in conjunction with The Covered Bays it is ideal for training events and shows.

The attractive oak flooring and a magnificent cast-iron fireplace of The Board Room make it an ideal venue for your Board meeting or working lunch, with the adjoining Members Room being perfect for smaller meetings.

Our state of the art facilities include: 15 user (laptops) wireless network, 10mb broadband internet connection, video conferencing, interactive whiteboard and LCD projector.
