 In addition to the Coalbrookdale site and Blists Hill Victorian Town, The Ironbridge Gorge Museums have corporate facilities available at; The Museum of the Gorge, The Coalport China Museum, The Jackfield Tile Museum and The Museum of Iron. These facilities may be of particular interest to enthusiasts, social groups and companies with a special interest.
The Museum of the Gorge is a gothic style 1830s warehouse from which goods from the famous Coalbrookdale Company were once transported down river to all parts of the world. It offers a superb Film and Lecture Theatre to seat up to 60 guests, and is a perfect venue for a related launch or video presentation.
Coalport China Museum is now the home to some of the most beautiful china ever made by the worlds famous Coalport factory and includes examples made for the Kings and Queens of Europe and the Tsars of Russia. It is an unusual setting for Cocktail parties or reception drinks amongst the exhibits.
Across the river from Coalport, displays of magnificent, decorative tiles and ceramics can be seen in the glass-lit galleries and showroom of The Jackfield Tile Museum. Ideal for reception drinks, with the opportunity of incorporating a Tile making workshop.
At the heart of Coalbrookdale is The Museum of Iron which houses a beautiful collection of iron products from the Coalbrookdale Company. Follow the history of where it all began. The Museum of Iron can host a dinner or evening reception for up to 50 guests wanting a venue with a specific interest.
