At the Ironbridge Gorge Museum learning starts early and just keeps going.

Our formal Education programme is closely linked to the National Curriculum from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 4.  The Education Team develops and delivers a range of activities, resources and workshops.

We investigate the domestic and working lives of local people from the late Victorian period through Art, Design, Science and Role-play.  Children can make bread, bricks, and ceramics.  They can decorate candles and tiles, create prints, do laundry or be Victorian school children.  In our Design and Technology centre children can investigate, design and make products.
