COOKING UP A STORM WITH AGA

The Museum of Iron Café was the venue for the popular Easter themed Aga Cooking Demonstration at the beginning of April. More than 50 people attended the fundraising event which saw Dawn Roads, from Aga, cooking up a storm of delicious dishes all with an Easter theme. After the entertaining demonstration, everyone was able to sample the tasty treats which included roast lamb, goat’s cheese and asparagus tarts, hot cross bun pudding and chocolate cake.

The event raised almost £800 for the Museum Trust which will be used to support its charitable aims.

Ruth Brown, Fundraising Manager, said: “This was a really fantastic evening and due to popular demand we hope to be able to hold another event like this soon. I would like to thank Dawn for all of her excellent cooking.”
