Sixty guests enjoyed a Wine Tasting Evening and a Spring-themed four course meal which raised more than £1,200 for the Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust.
The event was organised in association with Tanners Wine Merchants and was held in the unique Glass Classroom at Coalbrookdale.
Diners enjoyed a mouth-watering menu with each course being accompanied by a delicious wine selected by Tanners Sales Director, Robert Boutflower, who also gave tuition.
Ruth Taylor, Fundraising Manager, said: “We were delighted to welcome guests for this relaxed and entertaining evening. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and the money we raised from the evening will help the Museum in its charitable aims of education and conservation. Many thanks to Tanners for supplying the wine and to Robert for giving such interesting talks on the wines we tasted.”
